Find the cause of hair fall
Hair loss has different causes, and more than one can be present. The consultation reviews when shedding started, the pattern, relevant illness or life changes, medicines and family history, alongside a scalp examination.
Do I need blood tests?
Tests or a scalp biopsy may be appropriate when the history and examination suggest an underlying cause. They are not the same for every patient. Bring recent results and a list of supplements so existing information can be considered.
Medicines, PRP and other options
Treatment depends on the diagnosis. Minoxidil and other medicines may suit selected patients; PRP may be discussed as part of an individual plan. A procedure does not replace identifying the cause, and no single approach works for everyone.
Is this treatment right for me?
Discuss medical conditions, medicines, pregnancy or breastfeeding and earlier treatment reactions. Ask about expected benefit, side effects, treatment duration and the consequences of stopping before deciding.
